architraArchitrave is the University of Florida’s School of Architecture Student Publication showcasing student work. I held the position of Creative Director in charge of spread design.


The book was split into three
sections, each acting as a major portion of an overall narrative developed through the incorporation of student writings and student work. 

Number 1 - Simulacra -develops a specific system in place and references an event forseeing a major event to come, bringing forth ideas of simulation, parallelism, and duality as one understands they
exists within a system to demolished and redone. 

Number 2 - Entropy - references the breakdown of said system, handling ideas of
existentialism, uncertainty, and
sometimes chaos. 

Number 3 - Chora - handles the aftermath of said destruction, chasing a feeling of hopefull renewal; instituting ideas of creation and development, with a residual self-image being the main inspiration in developing a new system.
